The best TMNT we've had in a very long time.

Everything about this movie lines up with what a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles should be. It leans heavily on the fact that they're teenagers, and brings back a lot of the upbeat fun of the source material. Voiced by teenagers, utilizing relevant cultural references, an animation style that looks like a teenager's sketch book, a fantastic and fresh soundtrack-- it all adds up to the sharp updated version of the turtles we needed. As an added bonus, those teenaged turtles actually interact like teenagers and the subsequent awkwardness is not only entertaining, but hilarious.
