Kay Hooper ~ Adventure Suspense, Fiction. Noah Bishop/Special Victims Unit series features an FBI unit applying paranormal abilities to solve major crimes. Humour, romantic suspense and great characters. Try Stealing Shadows first.
Linda Howard ~ Romance, Mystery, and Adventure Suspense. Humour, suspense, and a great characters mark these novels. Try: To Die For; Mr. Perfect; Cry No More; Now You See Her; among others.
Andrea Kane ~ Romance. Exciting thrillers, with strong characters, and a great romance. Try: I’ll Be Watching You; No Way Out; or Wrong Place, Wrong Time.
Jayne Ann Krentz ~ Romance. Humour, suspense, and great quirky characters mark novels. Many of her novels have a paranormal slant. Try: Light in Shadow; Falling Awake; or Fired Up among others.
Elizabeth Lowell ~ Romance. Thrillers with strong characters, chases, and romance. Try: Amber Beach or Blue Smoke and Murder.
J. D. Robb ~ Mystery. Nora’s pseudonym. Her Eve Dallas series are futuristic police procedurals and romantic suspense. First book: Naked in Death. It helps to read these in order.
