Local History Collection
The Capital Area District Library offers a treasure trove of local
history information in its Forest Parke Library and Archives. The
collection is located in the basement level of the Downtown Lansing
Library. Although items cannot be checked out, assistance is available
during open hours.

The Forest Parke Library and Archives collection is open every
Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m.
or by appointment.

The Book Burrow (Used Book
Sales)
The Friends of the Lansing Libraries operates the Book Burrow,
located in the basement of the Downtown Lansing Library. The Book
