Thom Jayne and the Nomads are a Global Fusion group from Lansing.
Their line-up features digeridoos, trumpets, guitars, fiddles and
African percussion to create foot-stomping inspirational music with
flamenco, jazz and celtic influences. Thom Jayne’s first release,
The Forgotten Conquest, received award-winning recognition in
the John Lennon Songwriters Contest and won the 2002 Jammie Award/World
Beat category from WYCE. The band's second release, Road Trip,
won the 2006 Jammie Award/World by WYCE.
