CADL Mason Construction Update: Important Temporary October and November Building Access Changes, Library is Open

As we continue to improve the CADL Mason location, please be aware of some upcoming construction work which will temporarily affect access to the building. 

Here are the key details to keep in mind before visiting:

October 7-17

• Enter the Library through the ramp door on West Ash Street.
• The main front door to the library on West Ash will be closed.
• The two parking spaces in front of the library will be blocked off, and the sidewalk around the front will be barricaded for safe loading of debris and vegetation.
• Once excavation begins, temporary fencing will restrict access to construction areas.
• During this time, we will be completing basement window infill and waterproofing and making landscape updates.

Beginning Nov 4

Beginning November 4, the ramp door to the library on West Ash will be closed as we complete exterior repairs. We expect this work to be completed within a few days, though the exact date may vary based on weather or other unforeseen conditions.

For Curbside Service:

• Schedule your appointment using MyTime, or call 517-676-9088 to schedule with staff.
• Park in the City Lot on the East side of the Mason Branch.
• Call 517-676-9088 on arrival.
• Staff will bring your items to your vehicle.
