Charlotte Krajniak Receives Director's Award

I’m thrilled to announce that the Director’s Award in May was given to Charlotte Krajniak, library assistant at the Aurelius Branch. Charlotte has done so much for the Aurelius Branch and for CADL through her great work with the public and specifically her storytimes. Her storytimes have built a following at Aurelius and she’s also leads storytimes at the Holt-Delhi and Leslie branches when they needed staff to offer them. It’s her dedication to empowering our families with young children that makes Charlotte such an exceptional CADL staff member. Aurelius Head Librarian Jennifer DeGroat had this to say about Charlotte:

"For 15 hours per week, she has been going above and beyond with her preschool storytimes. For most weeks out of the year, she does a weekly storytime here at the branch.  Nearly every week (only affected by closures, sickness, etc.) she takes her storytime to our local Precious Hearts Daycare."

Charlotte, thank you for all that you do in helping children begin their literacy journey. Your work and positive attitude are greatly appreciated.
