Get Library Carded

Have you ever been library carded? National Library Card Sign-Up month is the perfect chance to do it! Library card-holders have a chance to win $100 by sharing a picture of themselves with their CADL card on Facebook using the hashtag #GetLibraryCarded. Even if you don’t win, these three membership benefits will save you more than $100.

1.      Check out books and movies for free.

CADL has a wide variety of books for all ages in physical, audio and digital formats. CADL even has kids’ picture books with built in audio players!

2.      CADL Memberships lets you try things for free.

Want to try out a musical instrument? You can check out instruments and much more from our Library of Things! We also have wireless hotspots and a new Library of Things Jr. collection for kids. Check them out at www.cadl.org/things.

3.      Go places by checking out a CATA Bus Pass or a Potter Park Zoo Pass.

A newer addition to the Library of Things are CATA bus passes!  You can check out 10 Ride Rural Route Passes or Adult 31 Day passes for free. We also have passes for the Potter Park Zoo and Michigan Activity Passes.
