It's a Wrap - Almost!

The year is rapidly coming to a close, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank CADL Foster’s wonderful patrons, great staff and The Friends of Lansing Libraries for another good year. We offered several new programs this year including Read to a Dog, Escape Rooms, Foster Seed Library and a Classic Movie Discussion Group.

We continued to offer storytime programs to promote early literacy to three different age groups. CADL members also enjoyed The Great Library Card Extravaganza and two monthly Adult Book Discussion Groups. We look forward to presenting some new programs in the coming year; so, if there is something you would like to learn about or that you’ve been waiting to try, let the staff know and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate your interest.

CADL was awarded the 2019 State Librarian’s Award of Excellence, but we won’t be resting on our laurels. I hope that you enjoy the upcoming holidays and 2020 turns out to be a great year for you and yours, Foster Branch, and the all the Capital Area District Libraries.
