Lauren Clarke Receives Director's Award

I’m thrilled to announce that the Director’s Award for September was given to Lauren Clarke, Public Services Librarian at the Williamston Branch. Lauren has worked for CADL as a clerk and a library assistant where she did a wonderful job of providing exemplary customer service. She was then hired as a librarian at the Williamston Branch and it’s in this role where she’s excelled. Lauren has brought so much to the Williamston community and students through her innovative programs and fun-loving demeanor. Her fun-loving side has really shown in her work on CADL’s TikTok videos. I love the sad “When Summer Reading Ends”.

Lauren, you have brought so much to our libraries, and your work is so appreciated. Thank you so much for your creativity and unique approach to library service. Please join me in congratulating Lauren!
