Library Lovers, Assemble!
We’re talking about the Lansing Lugnuts’ second annual Marvel Super Hero™ Night on Friday, Aug. 11 at Jackson Field. We’ll be joining the action in several exciting ways, including providing the first 1,000 arriving fans with a Marvel-themed Lugnuts hat (pictured on the left).
In the weeks following the game, we’ll also be giving members a chance to win a limited-edition Marvel-themed Lansing Lugnuts baseball jersey as part of our weekly e-newsletter Friday Freebie promotion. Learn more about our Friday Freebies here.
Accompanying us to Marvel Super Hero Night™ is our very own mascot (and personal superhero), Linc! Linc will join Big Lug on the concourse for a meet-and-greet with attendees. Along with meeting the mascots, guests will have the opportunity to meet Lansing Lugnut players during the pre-game player autograph session we’ve sponsored.
While walking through the concourse, guests can stop by our table to grab some giveaways, enter to win an Amazon Kindle Fire and learn about library services and resources. Before the game officially starts, our very own Board of Trustees Chair DeYeya Jones will throw the first pitch of the game.
The Lansing Lugnuts will take on the Fort Wayne TinCaps beginning at 7:05 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m. So grab your superhero suit and mask, peanuts and Cracker Jacks, and join your local library for a night at the ballpark!
