Lisa Gewirtz Receives Director's Award
I was so pleased to give the award to Lisa Gewirtz, Acquisitions Clerk in our Technical Services Department. Lisa is such an instrumental staff member for our items being ordered and received. For any of us who’ve done postings for our items ordered and gone through a fiscal close process know the important work that Lisa does. This year it was even more so as Technical Services started a new procedure to get everything received so that when the fiscal close was done, the budgets in Sierra would match the budgets in Finance. Lisa, along with Linda Bissell, made sure everything was received even when we had two large carts full of Baker & Taylor items come in at the last minute.
Through Lisa’s hard work and dedication to her job and department, our items get into the hands of our members and on the shelves of our libraries. Lisa, thank you so much for all that you’ve done for TS, for CADL and for our members. It’s so appreciated.
