Reading Month Calendar
We’re offering a free calendar filled with 31 fun activities for kids ages 3–10, all designed to promote literacy skills. Kids can earn a prize by completing ten or more! Starting March 1, request a copy from any CADL branch, or print one out here: Reading Month Calendar.
Take & Make Kits
This month you can request a STEM-based Take & Make kit from any CADL branch, featuring leprechauns and rainbow arches. This activity challenges children to use their hands to build bridges, think about weight distribution and learn new vocabulary.
Many CADL branches are also offering free Take & Make craft kits that tie into their Reading Month author or series. Find details on our Take & Make page.
By reading together every day, you strengthen your child’s literacy skills. Consistent reading practice builds a foundation of lifetime benefits for all children.
