Michael Moore Receives Director's Award

I'm so pleased to announce that the Director's Award for October was given to Michael Moore our Operations Director. Michael has done so much for CADL since joining us in early 2020. He has guided department renovations, updated our delivery process, managed our day-to-day operations, and overseen our projects and facilities. He has done this with an expert eye and a great sense of humor. I couldn't imagine CADL without Michael. He manages a wonderful staff who help CADL achieve our goal of providing library services to our communities. Head Librarian Jennifer DeGroat had this to add about Michael's great work:

I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much we have been appreciating Michael Moore out here at Aurelius. He has been SO, SO GOOD to us out here! He gave us storage space that we have been missing for a long time. We no longer have to store things in the mezz! Thanks to Michael, I now have the first office I’ve ever had in my professional life and it has been AMAZING! He has also been on top of our facility issues and helped out so many times. This has ranged from spraying the drop box for wasps to setting us up with A/C when we had nothing working this summer. Michael has been so helpful and available. I couldn’t help but let you know that. We are so grateful to him!!

I would have nominated him for the McConnell Award if I could have!

I agree Jennifer. He has helped all of our branches and departments improve how they operate. Michael, you are so deserving of the Director's Award and it's a pleasure to work alongside you.
