Sarah Lehman Receives Director's Award

At the end of each month, I highlight the incredible work of one of CADL's employees. The recipient for the May Director’s Award is Sarah Lehman, Library Assistant, Aurelius. In addition to her contributions at Aurelius, Sarah has also helped out at other branches, including Dansville. Here is a summary of some of the comments that were sent in:

"Sarah provided storytimes for Dansville for ten weeks, which has been so valuable in offering our families a quality experience with a storytime leader who brings passion and enthusiasm. Sarah captivated the children with her musical gifts of singing and playing guitar and ukulele, and also created adorable crafts each week. Her friendly demeanor won over all the kids and parents. We’re so grateful that she shared her talents with us so that we could offer continuity in storytime."

"Sarah is such an excellent employee! She has exceptional customer service skills and always goes the extra mile. There are so many amazing extras she provides. She also has been taking extra hours and covering extra shifts to help out when we were short-staffed. Our book discussion has grown in the last few months because of her leadership, too. Her next fun program is an escape room for our patrons. She is such a team player!"
