Susan Bissonnette Receives Director's Award

It’s my pleasure to inform you that the Director’s Award for January was given to Susan Bissonnette, library assistant at the Okemos Branch. Susan has done a tremendous job of offering services and opportunities for young adults at Okemos. She’s partnered with area schools to promote the Student Success Initiative and themed-book boxes that she created for teens. Along with these initiatives, she leads the highly successful TAB (Teen Advisory Board) at Okemos. I’m so impressed with the TAB group because they are always volunteering at Okemos events. They’re a highly engaged group and that points back to Susan’s leadership.

A few weeks ago, Susan's quick thinking and action helped a member during a medical emergency. Susan, thank you so much for all that you’ve done for Okemos and CADL. Your work is greatly appreciated.
