Welcoming Quinn O'Donnell to CADL's Board of Trustees
Quinn is a Development Associate at Child and Family Charities and is excited to step into the position of Program Manager in the coming months. She has been with Child and Family Charities for nearly two years and oversees volunteer coordination, donations of goods, and the database.
Quinn graduated from Western Michigan University in 2016 with a degree in Music Education and Bassoon Performance. During her time there, she was a music librarian for the bands and an active member and leader within the Bronco Marching Band.
After her graduation, she moved to Arizona where she was the Head Director of the Bands at Rio Rico High School. There, she taught marching band, concert band, symphonic band, percussion techniques, and jazz. She also worked to grow the leadership program for student leaders in the band.
After five years of teaching, she moved to Lansing and began her work at Child and Family Charities. In addition to the work she does with CFC, she also is a board member with the Lansing Kiwanis Club where she will be stepping into both the Vice President and Secretary positions in the coming months.
In her spare time, she can be found walking her dog Waffles, writing, reading, prepping for and playing Dungeons and Dragons as a Dungeon Master, and attending art and music festivals around Lansing. She also enjoys attending Lansing Symphony Orchestra concerts that her husband, Paul Clifton-O'Donnell, a horn player, performs in.
Quinn is humbled by the chance to serve both CADL and the community as a whole in her new role as a board member.
"Libraries are more than a collection of books and materials -- they provide an integral resource to the community as a whole. I look forward to supporting the mission of CADL and keeping this vibrant resource shining now and in the future."
Please help us in welcoming Quinn to CADL!
