Book by Mail

Books by Mail is a free service that puts library items into the hands of residents who are unable to use traditional library services.

Those enrolled receive a small, green shipping bag in the mail, filled with requested items or ones chosen with care by a dedicated staff member. When the items are due, they are mailed back in the same bag – postage paid.

Some important notes:

• You must reside in CADL’s service area to be eligible. Call 517-334-1519 if you are not sure.
• This application must be signed by a caregiver, activity director, or social worker. Please contact us to see if other arrangements may be made.
• Once you are enrolled, you will no longer be able to use a library card in one of our branches.
