The Lansing branches are hosting the VITA Tax prep mobile unit. VITA is the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Their new mobile unit brings trained, IRS-certified tax preparers to your neighborhood to deliver FREE tax prep services. Household earning up to $67,000 can get free tax preparation. VITA mobile unit is provided by United Way, City of Lansing, and Dean. Registration is required. Please call the branch or stop in to register.
