Part time 10 hours per week. Will include nights and weekends

Capital Area District Libraries (CADL) provides library services to our local communities seven days per week. All positions except those in the Administrative Offices will require some evening and weekend hours, including Sundays. While this position is currently assigned at the above location, CADL reserves the right to require all employees to be available for assignments at any CADL location.

Salary

$14.18 per hour

Nature of Work

Under the supervision of a Branch Head or Circulation Head, performs a variety of circulation desk duties. Answers the telephone; prepares a variety of materials including forms, cards, receipts, and other correspondence; receives screens, sorts, processes, and/or counts library materials, patron registrations, and other applications and/or forms.  Assists in other areas of the library providing support when workloads dictate.

Education & Experience

   Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.

   This is an entry-level classification; no specific prior experience is required.
