Boss Baby

New and soon-to-be-parents and older siblings should check out this witty picture book by two-time Caldecott Honor medalist, Frazee. In it she offers a witty take on the way a new baby can take over and run the family by portraying the new addition as a cranky and demanding CEO with an around the clock schedule for his parents and many meetings (including the 2 am fits). This title is yet another in a string of picture books almost geared more to the parents than a young child, like Lane Smith’s It’s a Book, but kids will get a kick out of Frazee’s pictures and read-aloud quality of the story.

Recommended for Preschool - 2nd grade.
