Team Jacob... and Team Edward should check out Sam!

Grace has been obsessed with her wolf since her attack at the age of 11. He has watched over her every winter for six years yet has been conspicuously absent every summer. Then in the fall of her 17th year, Jack, a boy at school is killed by the wolves and his family starts a community hunt for the pack. Grace tries to stop it but instead is only able to help her wolf shot in the neck and lying on her deck now in the shape of an 18 year old boy named Sam. I liked the story particularly as Sam and Grace learn about each other despite the threat of the Pack, Sam’s last change, and the insistence by Jack’s sister that he’s still alive—and he is. More than anything I enjoyed Stiefvater’s writing style. Check out this and her fabulous stand-alone debut Lament.
