When she found the truth to be very different she believed more people needed to know stories of Jewish resistance. Filled with personal accounts based on primary sources and interviews and hundreds of photographs—mainly of young people involved in escapes, uprisings and rebellions—this book is an excruciating, compelling, and essential read.
