Eleanor & Park

Eleanor and Park is a 'misfits fall in love' story. But it is an extraordinarly well done example of the genre. The gradual development of the relationship between the title characters is believable and honest. The narration is terrific. I hate it when audiobooks have two narrators but one of them is annoying. Both narrators here do a great job of giving personality to their respective characters and life to Rowell's words. This is a great novel for older teens, but the 1986 setting will add appeal for many adults as well.
