If someone asked you to help them die, would you?

Sage Singer befriends Josef, a kindly old man. Josef asks Sage to help him die because of heinous things he has done when he was a SS officer. The story starts slow, but picks up speed with a twist at the end I didn't expect. I couldn't stop reading it. The author brings the people in the story to life. It was a really good read.
