Sherlock before he’s the absolutely maddening know-it-all portrayed in modern versions. Still young and fairly innocent… but so curious. Andrew Lane pulls from the full breadth of Holmes stories to create a fun and engrossing teen version of the world’s first consulting detective. I listened to the audiobook for most of this and loved Dan Weyman’s delivery from the proper Holmes family, to the American tutor Amyus Crowe, to the various baddies. Fans of a great mystery or the iconic character should give this a try.
