Ex-Heroes

I’m not the biggest fan of zombie fiction but I have a weakness for superheroes, and Clines’ novel has a cast of interesting and flawed supers defending a community in what was Hollywood from the Ex’s. This has great characters, a different take on zombies, and it’s a fast fun (for a zombapocalypse novel) read. Fans of Austin Grossman (Soon I Will Be Invincible), The Living Dead edited by John Joseph Adams or Jonathan Maberry’s “Joe Ledger” series (starting with Patient Zero) should take note.
