The Red Queen Dies

This slightly futuristic thriller is part procedural, part homage to Alice in Wonderland with a down the rabbit hole sensibility. The novel introduces Hannah McCabe on the case of a serial killer whose latest victim is a famous actress known as the Red Queen. Aspects of this story reminded me strongly of J. D. Robb. I’m hoping to see this series continue - I’d definitely try another outing with this group of investigators.
