The Incrementalists

Phil picks Ren to become the newest vessel for an age old society of quiet and patient meddlers in human development… but from the start this isn’t a normal initiation. In fact, the transfer may destroy the society and our world with it. This is a tightly wrapped puzzle set against the backdrop of modern day Las Vegas. And it reminds me how much I love Steven Brust’s writing. He and White’s creation is fun, fabulously constructed and an all-around great read. Fans of both authors should find something good here, and fans of strange and smart contemporary fantasy should check this out too.
