Lush locomotive!

The Caldecott Award committee got it right this time, with its 2014 winner. Talk about lush illustrations! Floca perfectly blends information and storyline with illustrative details. My daughter loved this as night time read aloud even though it is less plot and more non-fiction and informational. If she went into the book not loving trains, it sure is not how she came out of it!
