Perception

How can a paranoid schizophrenic be helpful to the F.B.I.?

I know, yet another crime drama. What drew me into this show was the unusual character of Dr. Daniel Pierce. He is a Professor of  Neuropsychiatry at a fictional college in Chicago and he helps his former student, now an FBI agent, solve crimes. His discussions with his hallucinations helps the viewer understand his thought processes to solve the crimes. I also enjoy the relationship he has with his teaching assistant (keeper) and his Dean at the college, played by LeVar Burton. Like any of the crime series out currently there are many different plot lines, but the characters are what kept me coming back.
