The Mountain Story

Wolf Truly heads up the mountain for a hike-his final hike. He is prepared to commit suicide on his 18th birthday; after a harrowing childhood and the loss of his best friend. On the tram, he is barely aware of other people, except the few who are annoying him. A few hours and wrong turns later, Wolf and a trio of women are in one another's company and lost on the mountain. Although Wolf is telling the story, each person's history is fleshed out in this satisfying page turner. Highly recommended for book discussion groups.
