The Paris Architect

This is set in Paris during World War II, an architect gets drawn into an unexpected situation working for a rich gentile who hires him to create hiding spaces for Jews in and around Paris.  At the same time he is working for the Nazi's designing a factory.  He must navigate both of these worlds without letting on to either what he's doing for the other.  He tries to remain detached but finds it harder and harder as the book progresses. 

Again this is told from the perspectives of many of the different characters and how they eventually merge together is wonderfully played out.  It's hard not to grow to love this author who also wrote House of Thieves.
