The Girl from Everywhere

Nix has spent her 16 years on a ship with a diverse crew from a variety of places and times, real and imagined. Her father, the captain, Navigates. As long as he has a hand-drawn map he can travel through the margins and get to the map's place and time. But the captain is obsessed with going back to 1868 Hawaii to save Nix's mother. What does that mean for Nix's life? If the past is changed will she still even be the same person?

 

The 19th century Hawaiian setting was unique and fascinating and was only of the destinations featured. Smart characters and some time-wimey craziness only add to the fun.
