Smith does a bang up job writing about the women of the Old Testament. Details are rich and vibrant, and you feel seemlessly transported to thetime and place. Often, it is difficult to connect to a culture that is so different from our own, but Smith makes it easy. Lovely book, hard to put down. Try her others too!
