China Dolls

A story about three women that are strangers, but become friends during difficult times of racial issues.

A work of fiction that tells the reader about the experiences of Chinese and Japanese American women during and after World War ll.  Grace, Helen and Ruby are strangers but become fast friends. The author tells the story through the point-of-view of each of the women.  A book about the social and racial issues that these women must face and challenge is a great read for people that like strong female characters set in historical settings.
