Sanibel Flats

Doc Ford, the main character in this series, seemed like a cross between Robert B Parker's Jesse Stone and Spenser characters. There was a lot of adventure and intrigue, and some humor. Randy White made sure to give lots of background information so the reader never had to wonder how people and places were connected. I thought it was a lively story and, since I have been to Sanibel Island, I liked that I knew the location.
