Dough

"A priest, a rabbi, and an imam walk into a bar..."

It's towards the end of the film that the old Jewish baker, Nat Dayan (played by Jonathan Pryce) tells this joke to his Muslim apprentice Ayyash (played by Jerome Holder).  What a long way they've come!  Problems of prejudice, joblessness, immigration, and corporate greed must all be dealt with in this film set in London's east side.  An interesting complication arises from the accidental addition of a marijuana stash into the "dough!" This warm-hearted and funny movie proves once again that people, for the most part, are more alike than they are different.
