Immortals

Mythology, academic mystery, and the hunt for a serial killer in New York City. An urban fantasy featuring Selene DeSilva, a loner and protector of women. While out walking her dog DeSilva finds the body of a young woman, awakening in her an old anger and fire from the days when she was known as Artemis. Professor Theo Schultz, the murdered woman's ex and co-worker, wants answers when he finds out the murder was reminiscent of a long forgotten rite. Humor, angst, and a fun play on the gods and what they might do to retain their powers in a world that only vaguely remembers them. This is a complete story in itself, but is also the start of a projected trilogy. I'm really curious to see where Selene and Theo will go next. Follow it up with Winter of the Gods.
