Little Penguin Gets the Hiccups

I’d like to start this review by saying that this is NOT a proper bedtime story, unless you want to get out your riot gear. This is a book that lets the reader and the audience be loud, obnoxious (depending on your opinion of chronic hiccups) and silly – which we all need sometimes. It tells the tale of a hapless penguin who is beset with hiccups that he simply cannot get rid of, no matter how many times we try to scare him. Since its release this book has quickly become one of my favorites to read to a big group, although it will also work quite well with a smaller audience as long as you don’t care about anyone getting to bed in a peaceful manner.
