Veracruz Y Su Musica

You have likely heard Mariachi music, but have you heard Sones Jarochos?  For an exquisite listening experience download Veracruz Y Su Musica by Grupo Chalchihuecan De Los Hermanos Ochoa.  This collection celebrates a regional folk style of Mexican music from the coastal states of Tamaulipas and Veracruz in Mexico.  You will hear the jarana jarocha, a guitar like instrument that looks like a ukulele, but reminds me of a marimba.  Whatever the sound, it is the mango salsa to my ears!
