An interesting twist on a contemporary Jane Eyre

This modern graphic adaptation of Jane Eyre introduces Jane as a hard worker who’s earned enough money to finally make it to art school in New York City but she needs a job to maintain her scholarship. So she ends up the Nanny to a reclusive and secretive single father. The McKenna is a noted Hollywood screenwriter and Pérez an Eisner & Harvey award winning artist. The combo works great! The twists on the original story are quite interesting... and I’m a sucker for a Jane Eyre story and anything Archiaia publishes.
