It Takes Two to Tumble

Naval captain Phillip Dacre has returned to England for the first time since his wife’s death to try to corral his unruly children, who have managed to drive away every governess and tutor. Every tutor, except one - Ben, the local vicar, who sees past the children’s defensive exteriors to the secret they’re trying to protect. Sparks fly when the two men meet, but between runaway children, blackmail plots, and scandalous family histories, Ben and Phillip will need to decide if their feelings for each other are worth the risks.

 

Cat Sebastian’s writing never fails to make me smile, with engaging plots, characters that you love to cheer on, and believably realistic obstacles for a “happily ever after”. (But don’t worry, these are romance novels - the main couple will triumph in the end!)
