When Friendship Followed Me Home

Could Ben’s life get any worse? Follow the story about a boy, who finds a stray dog called Flip that loves him unconditionally and keeps him company when times get tough. This book reminds me of “The Fault in our Stars”, where special girl/boy friendships develop that deal with cancer and loss of a loved one.  Serious issues for a child/teen, but I liked how the author shows how hope prevails and struggles can be overcome through love and friends.
