If that title doesn't grab you...I don't know what I can add.

Obviously, for hundreds of years, people knew that sex made babies. But, nobody could explain just *how* this miracle happened, in the body. The smartest of men, (and yes, they were ALL men); philosophers, scientists, priests, explorers; gave it their best hypotheses and theories, but all failed. This delightful read blends history, science, and humor to trace the attempts to discover and explain just how new humans were created. Excellent book discussion title.
