Agatha Raisin

M.C. Beaton's most likable unlikable character comes to television!

I have been a long time reader of M. C. Beaton's Hamish MacBeth and Agatha Raisin series, so I was super excited to hear that Acorn was making a series from the Agatha Raisin books.  I was not disappointed.  Agatha Raisin, a pushy, nosey, insecure former PR manager, has retired to a small village.  Mayhem ensues, which leads Agatha to solve a bunch of murders.  It is so much fun!  This is perfect for anyone who likes British murder mystery series like Father Brown or Midsomer Murders.
