Since my daughter was a little girl, she loved musicals. On the other hand, I’ve never been fond of this genre. However, when I saw this book in the library, I immediately thought this would be a great high school graduation gift for my daughter, who is going to pursue a career in the arts.

In Life is Like a Musical, Federle provides readers with 50 life lessons that he learned from his experience as a dancer and actor, which included working on Broadway. Although the vignettes are all in the form of stories from the world of theatre, the wisdom contained in this book is relevant to anyone who is seeking to be successful in just about any career. This is a hilarious book that was an enjoyable read.
