We understand the stages of grieving but nothing is so raw as losing a child.

I've never lost a child, but I lost my mom from dementia when she was 96. My mom was like a child some days and we had joy in the little things like picking up acorns, looking at birds, and singing songs. While this book brings up all of those raw emotions of grief, it is healing as well.
