I'm Just No Good At Rhyming

I found out about this title from a review. I don't normally read poetry, but something about the title and illustrations drew me to this book. These poems have a lot of attitude, with some sweetness thrown in to keep you on your toes. The illustrations give deeper insight into the poems - keep an eye out for the witty bickering between the author and the illustrator in the poem "I Don't Like My Illustrator." These poems include animals (hippos jumping on beds), time (serious bedtime discussions), travel (choosing your path), and eating habits (trying vegetables). This is a poetry book for those that wouldn't normally read poetry.
