Can you live with someone without ever meeting them face to face?
After a bad breakup, Tiffy needs a new place to live, asap. Leon, who works the night shift as a palliative care nurse, needs someone to split rent. Seems like a perfect match! Leon and Tiffy get the apartment for 12 hours each and never have to cross paths, communicating through the occasional Post-It note. ...okay, more than occasional. More like a constant stream of Post-It notes, covering every possible surface of an apartment, and then some. Maybe the question is really, can you fall in love with a person because of their note-writing skills?
This is a really sweet book that also covers some heavy topics, including emotional abuse and the inequalities of the justice system. I wasn’t expecting those from the summary, but the author does such a great job of weaving it into the larger story that it makes perfect sense for every character involved. Plus, it’s one of those books that just leaves you happy when you finish reading it.
