This is a documentary about Cole Sprague and Katie Schmitz, a young enthusiastic couple who attempt to drive the Great Western Trail--an unpaved trail full of rough and constantly changing terrain--from Mexico to the Canadian border in their Toyota Four Runner. Filmed and narrated on a shoestring budget by Sprague and Schmitz, the viewer experiences their ups and downs, trials and tribulations, along with the beautiful scenery of Arizona, Utah, Idaho, and Montana.
